ZooParc de Beauval was founded by Françoise Delord in 1980. Beauval started as an ornithological park, until the arrival of the first large cats in 1989. Over 35 years later you can feel the passion for animals when you enter ZooParc de Beauval…

The Zoo is located in the Loir-et-Cher (41) department, in the heart of France.

Giant pandas at ZooParc de Beauval

A young pair of giant pandas, Huan Huan & Yuan Zi, arrived on January 15, 2012.

The pandas are on a 10 year breeding loan from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

An amazing piece of China was build in France: ‘Sur les hauteurs de Chine’

Beautiful authentic Chinese objects were imported directly from Beijing and Shanghai to Saint-Aignan. The panda exhibit was opened to the public on February 18, 2012.
