Smithsonian fans casted over 50.000 votes in the 2015 Smithsonian Summer Showdown. The Smithsonian’s Digital Philanthropy Director Yoon Lee announced the champion: Raising Endangered Babies, National Zoological Park and Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute!
With 28 amazing contenders, there were some pretty entertaining pitched battles on social media and a few close calls along the way, but in the end the National Zoological Park and Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute held their own against the fierce competition.
