Er Shun and
Da Mao, the charismatic giant panda duo, landed on Canadian soil after an 18 hour flight from Chengdu China. Since March 25, 2013 the giant pandas have won the hearts of not only Canadians, but people around the world. From their epic arrival, the true start of the “panda”monium, to making appearances on Canada’s “Amazing Race”, being featured in the “Rick Mercer Report”, welcoming over 1.4 million people and of course their popularity as YouTube sensations with
Da Mao’s snow tumbling video, reaching over 5 million views worldwide!
This black and white pair have made the last 12 months at the
Toronto Zoo exciting, educational and certainly entertaining, and we can’t wait to see what the next four years bring!
