Panda Poop to heat Zoo Parc de Beauval

As part of ZooParc de Beauval’s vision of Sustainable development, the zoo will start the development of a 2.3 Million Euro Plant to create energy from the feces of their animals. And since Huan Huan & Yuan Zi produce lot’s of them each day, they will be helping the program very well! The plant that process dung produced by the pandas and other animals into a form of biogas, which will be used to provide heat and electricity to zoo buildings and other facilities.
