It has been reported that female giant panda Na Na returned home to Bi Feng Xia on January 15, 2013 to get ready to participate in the 2013 breeding program. In her stead, the CCRCGP transferred three and a half year old giant panda Hao Hao to Langzhong on January 16, 2013.

Although Na Na lived at the Langzhong Panda Science Museum for only fourteen months she was much loved and everyone was very sad to see her leave. At first she ate her native bamboo, but adjusted well to eating the local Langzhong bamboo and currently weighs 95 kg.

Hao Hao is the daughter of San Diego born Hua Mei. She had recently returned to Bifengxia from Guangzhou. She joins male Rong Rong at Langzhong.
