Kai Kai & Xin Xin arrived in Macau on December 18, 2010. Both pandas are a gift from the Chinese Government to SAR Macau for the 10th Anniversary of the Macau Government. They were born at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

Kai Kai & Xin Xin are doing well. The pandas have been adjusting to their new homes at Seac Pai Van Park. The pavilion consists of two 330m2 indoor activity quarters, a 600m2 outdoor exhibit yard and a 900m2 indoor exhibit area. Two viewing paths of different elevations align along the front edge of the fan-layout indoor activity area, accessible to two streams of visitors. Internal facilities include a logistic centre with panda dens, bamboo-washing and storage quarters, feed preparation room, feed warehouse, control centre, veterinarian clinic, etc.

Lan Jing Chao is providing us the first pictures of Kai Kai & Xin Xin outside in Macau.
