Looking back: Pambassadors planted bamboo in Panda Valley
On September 25, 2010 the 12 Pambassadors visited the construction site of the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding Dujiangyan Field Research Center for Giant Pandas and planted some bamboo.
I was very honoured that we could contribute to this project that will be ‘A New Era in Panda Conservation’. I hope one day Xing Rong, Xing Ya, Gong Zi, Ying Ying, Zhi Zhi & Qi Qi will enjoy our bamboo…
While preparations are being made to move the first 6 pandas to Panda Valley, let’s take some time to what I wrote last year about our visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding Dujiangyan Field Research Center for Giant Pandas:
